Big Train Horchata

Yummy! I had a nice, tall glass of horchata made with a mix by Big Train http://www.bigtrain.com/products.swf . I bought the giant can at Costco. It was easy to mix and the taste was pretty good.

San-J Thai Peanut Sauce

I've used this peanut sauce in the past but hadn't used it in a while. I decided to buy some this past weekend and use it on pasta with meatballs. It was delish!!! It was a nice twish on the old spaghetti and meatballs routine. Here's the san-j website http://www.san-j.com/product_info.asp?id=6 .

L'Oreal Skin Genesis

http://www.lorealparisusa.com

I have recently started to use the L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Cleanser and I love it! My skin is very sensitive and this cleanser is non irritating. Plus, it does stand up to its claims of gentle yet thorough cleansing. I've used it on a face full of make-up and it has done its job! The scent isn't overpowering either.

Mineral Make-up

I have a love/hate relationship with mineral make-up. On the one hand it's easy to apply and looks nice. However, my skin tends to be on the dry side and the mineral powder makes my skin feel even drier. I usually avoid this by moisturizing beforehand but sometimes I'm in a hurry and I don't have time to moisturize. Anyone else have any thoughts on this???

Johnson's No More Tangles

Hoorah! I've found a detangler to get my daughter's Albert Einstein 'do under control. It's Johnson's leave in conditioner http://www.johnsonsbaby.com/product.do?id=68 . My daughter gets the nastiest, frizziest knots in the back of her head every morning. I've tried a bunch of other hair care products but nothing seemed to work. I found the Johnson's conditioner recently and it has been working so far. I haven't had to untangle the bird's nest that forms on the back of her head.

Steamer bags for food

I have to say that I love steamer bags to cook my veggies and fish. They always come out perfect and I don't have to use any oil to cook them, just some seasoning. I usually buy the Ziplock steamer bags http://www.ziploc.com/?p=b9 because those seem to be the only ones my grocer carries. I remember Glad offering a similar product. Anyway, the steamer bags are a great time-saver and healthy way to cook your meals.
