Boiron Homeopathic Flu Medicine
My whole family has been hit with the flu recently, swine flu that is, and I decided to try the Boiron Flu Medicine along with the Tamiflu our doctor prescribed. I have to say that I think it worked. I was up and running sooner than the rest of my family and I think Boiron may have given me the edge. Here is their website: http://www.oscillo.com/ .
Revlon ColorStay Liquid Lip
I know a long wearing liquid lipstick and it's from Revlon. http://www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/ProductDetails.aspx?CategoryID=2&SubCategoryID=7&ProductID=188
There is a nice selection of shades and they do last. Also, the lipstick doesn't make my lips feel dry. I was very pleased with this lipstick.

Cheer BrightClean Detergent
How I love thy clean socks and undies that one does giveth me. This detergent actually works and it's gentle on my family's clothing which is very important when you have kids with significant allergies and eczema. Here's the website: http://www.cheer.com/laundry-detergents/free-gentle-detergent.shtml . I love that I have not had to use bleach on whites so far because Cheer is actually brightening my whites (and colors too).
In Bloom Parfum by Reese Witherspoon
Okay I have add the disclaimer that I am an Avon Beauty Advisor and this is our newest parfum, but trust me, you will like it. Here's the link: http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=37259 . It's not the typical, old timey, stuff you'd expect to smell when you think of gardenia and lush peach. It's actually quite irresistable and sublime. I'm very picky with frangrances and cannot stand when a fragrance is too strong or smells cheap. In Bloom is neither. It has a nice, lingering fragrance that doesn't overwhelm the senses and with Avon's money-back guarantee you cannot go wrong.
Le Petit Francais Bread Rolls
My kids discovered these bread rolls at Costco the other day. The kids absolutely loved them!!! Here is the link: http://www.lepetitfrancais.com/ . They are fat, sugar free and kosher. Warm them in the oven and top with a smidge of butter and hmmm....so good. Don't forget the hot chocolate!
Back to Liking/Not lIking Stuff
After a long absence, I'm back. There are so many good and bad things out there that I've tried these past several months that I had to let you know about. I promise to be more regular with my blogging. Thanks for your patience.

Loacker Wafer Cookies
Hello! These bite size, dark chocolate wafer cookies are just delish. Careful because they are a bit addictive. I picked these up at my local Costco. http://www.loacker.com/1282d1290.html

Revolution Tea rocks!
I just had Revolution Tea in Honey Bush Caramel and whoa baby, I love, love, loved it! http://www.revolutiontea.com/herbal-tea/ It comes in individual fancy tea bags and the flavor is sublime. I cannot wait to order some.
Bath and Body Works Hand Wash
These are the best hand soaps ever, especially for little kids. My family loves the self-foaming, anti-bac soaps by B & B W. http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=3256871&cp=2484525.3256869 . The foam up into a rich, yummy smelling lather, that gets into the tiniest of crevices on little hands. I always buy them when they're on sale and I find that that they are comparably priced to grocery store brands.

Weleda Calendula Face Cream
Weleda makes a superb face cream for babies that I love. http://shop.weleda.com/item_detail.aspx?ItemCode=8816
The scent is not overpowering and it softens and soothes delicate baby facial skin. Adults like it too. My dad kept my tube of Weleda face cream after he tried it! Needless to say I have to go out and buy another tube for my children.

Avon's Kabuki Brush by Mark
I love, love, love the kabuki brush that Mark makes for Avon!!! http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?src_page=product_list.aspx&level1_id=300&level2_id=469&pdept_id=483&dept_id=492&pf_id=32338
It is only $5.00 but it is an amazing brush. The bristles are incredibly soft and apply mineral powder foundation beautifully. I also use it to apply my blush. The best part is that it's compact so you can throw it in your purse and take it with you for quick touch ups.

Big Train Horchata
Yummy! I had a nice, tall glass of horchata made with a mix by Big Train http://www.bigtrain.com/products.swf . I bought the giant can at Costco. It was easy to mix and the taste was pretty good.

San-J Thai Peanut Sauce
I've used this peanut sauce in the past but hadn't used it in a while. I decided to buy some this past weekend and use it on pasta with meatballs. It was delish!!! It was a nice twish on the old spaghetti and meatballs routine. Here's the san-j website http://www.san-j.com/product_info.asp?id=6 .

L'Oreal Skin Genesis
http://www.lorealparisusa.com
I have recently started to use the L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Cleanser and I love it! My skin is very sensitive and this cleanser is non irritating. Plus, it does stand up to its claims of gentle yet thorough cleansing. I've used it on a face full of make-up and it has done its job! The scent isn't overpowering either.

Mineral Make-up
I have a love/hate relationship with mineral make-up. On the one hand it's easy to apply and looks nice. However, my skin tends to be on the dry side and the mineral powder makes my skin feel even drier. I usually avoid this by moisturizing beforehand but sometimes I'm in a hurry and I don't have time to moisturize. Anyone else have any thoughts on this???
Johnson's No More Tangles
Hoorah! I've found a detangler to get my daughter's Albert Einstein 'do under control. It's Johnson's leave in conditioner http://www.johnsonsbaby.com/product.do?id=68 . My daughter gets the nastiest, frizziest knots in the back of her head every morning. I've tried a bunch of other hair care products but nothing seemed to work. I found the Johnson's conditioner recently and it has been working so far. I haven't had to untangle the bird's nest that forms on the back of her head.
Steamer bags for food
I have to say that I love steamer bags to cook my veggies and fish. They always come out perfect and I don't have to use any oil to cook them, just some seasoning. I usually buy the Ziplock steamer bags http://www.ziploc.com/?p=b9 because those seem to be the only ones my grocer carries. I remember Glad offering a similar product. Anyway, the steamer bags are a great time-saver and healthy way to cook your meals.
